Our philosophy on the one hand concentrates on perfecting the language skills as a tool for English communication, always adapted to the specific needs of each professional student.
Then, equally important, the application of the English language in all kinds of business situations is trained, taking into account the specific background of each student and his or her particular aims for use in business lateron.
Hereby the student is familiarized with the most important features of the anglo-saxon business culture and way of life.
In most cases our English training has been company-specific.
"English training and translation" offers both individual English training as well as training courses for groups.
The training is conducted eiher in our own teaching facilities in Aschaffenburg or on the premises of the individual company.
We employ modern audio-visual equipment in our teaching and state of the art teaching methods.
Each training is tailored to the specific needs of the student and of the company, respectively
We also offer a number of special intensive English short courses (6-8 weeks, 5-6 units per week)
There are different levels in each subject, e.g. for Business English, EDP/IT-English, Technical English, Marketing English, Secretarial English.
Dr. Dietrich Schuppan has an inter- cultural background and experience of more than 30 years, both privately (married to an American for 25 years) as well as by working in industry and academia.
He has taught and conducted research at American and German universities and was a Manager for 3M corporation in the USA; he then worked in contract research (projects in Europe and the Middle East), as International Manager of a German Industry Association (representing more than 100 companies), and lateron on the board of a multi-national company in Germany.
After operating his own international consulting company for a few years, he started his English language school "english training and translation" in 1990.
